As a new mom, finding a creative outlet outside the demanding world of wedding photography was a challenge I never anticipated. Balancing work, motherhood, and personal fulfillment led me to seek something that was just for me—something that would allow my creativity to flourish while still keeping me present with my children. That’s how élise & madelyn was born.

It’s amazing how a simple pattern can ignite a spark of creativity. I discovered this while searching for ways to channel my artistic energy into something tangible. The idea of designing stationery felt like the perfect blend of my passions. If I wasn’t designing digitally, you’d likely find me painting or building something around the house—a fact that gives my husband some relief!

Creating élise & madelyn allowed me to continue producing work that brings joy and purpose. Through this journey, I realized how particular one can become about something as simple as a notebook. When you use them daily, you form opinions you never knew you had. I poured this newfound understanding into every product, ensuring that each one not only looks beautiful but also serves as a tool to help others focus on what truly matters in their lives.
